Sabine Mitsch Millinery started making hats on a whim, after originally training as an illustrator and graphic designer. A course in Costume Design at Central St Martin's, London, sparked the passion and love for making and designing hats and fascinators.
My hats are mostly made from natural materials such as silk and wool-felt, but I also incorporate up-cycled materials as well as vintage lace and ornaments. All hats are made the traditional way using wooden hat blocks and are fully lined.
As embellishments I use feathers, silk pleats, buttons, beads, vintage lace and vintage jewellery.
Inspired by art, design, nature and tales Sabine Mitsch Millinery brings to each head-piece lightness, creativity and mostly brilliant colour.
